Maria Nikolajeva, the world’s most notable Cambridge University literature professor held a conference in early September to discuss the impact of Twilight on the female mind.
The conference made up of scientists (other grad school professors), authors (published grad school professors), and educators (grad school professors without a doctorate), concluded that indeed reading Twilight changes the female teen mind – and the 30-65-year-old housewife mind.
It is possible that getting involved deeply with any literary activity may alter the teen mind, but the occurrence is too rare for a scientific sampling.
