Lumigrate Podcast 006 – All About Facebook, part 2

This is the second half of our discussion about Facebook with a panel of guests from the Grand Junction Business Incubator Center.

In this episode, we discuss some of the more advanced concepts of Facebook and we break them down and try to explain them on a basic level. We discuss Facebook pages, who should not use Facebook, how to handle negative feedback and much more.

As a bonus, here’s a link to some of the material we edited out of the interview. Some of it was deep conversation about Facebook that could not, by any stretch of the imagination, be defined as basic. Other segments were simply goofy bloopers.

Lumigrate Podcast – 005 – All About Facebook, part 1

Episode 005 is one of our best ever. The folks from the Grand Junction Business Incubator Center joined us in-studio where we recorded a two-part discussion about Facebook. This episode, 005, is all about the basics of Facebook. Who should use it, what it is, why it’s important, where to get started and when you should use it.

The information on this site is good, but I am posting it because it is a great example of how the blog format works great for a website. We need to get people past the notion that a blog has to be about whining or political rants.

This site is clean, easy to navigate and full of information. It also uses social networking stratagies without being annoying.

Rick Castellini has these podcasts posted over at, but I thought I would post them here as well. If you have never tuned in live, you can do so on the third Wednesday of each month on or 88.1Fm in Grand Junction, CO from Noon-1pm.

We used to have a three hour nationally syndicated show that was much more rich in content, but we gave it up because we only made about $125 in the seven years we did the show together.

You won’t find these podcasts on iTunes yet but you can add them to your iTunes library by downloading them and putting them in your music folder.
